The goal of the conference is to provide families an opportunity to get more information about adoption and foster care topics. Breakout sessions will be conducted for common adoption and foster care topics. Various adoption and foster care agency representatives will be on hand to answer specific questions. Families who are beginning their journeys of adoption or foster parenting will have an opportunity to connect with families who have had similar experiences.

This year’s keynote speaker will be Sherrie Eldridge, author of several books including Twenty Things Adopted Kids Wish Their Adoptive Parents Knew . Similar to past Tapestry conferences, this year’s conference will feature a wide array of adoption and foster care related breakout sessions. In addition, the 2010 Tapestry Conference will include an adoptee track (for adoptees ages 18 years and older) designed to help adoptees explore the unique journey they experience into adulthood and beyond. HUGS MEETS: Monthly
Every Second Sunday
6 PM in Fellowship Hall
Guest speakers and foster families will bring awareness each month of how we as individuals and as a Church can make a difference in the lives of these children. If you have an hour a month to give or a passion to foster/adopt, please join us in our journey and make a difference in a child’s life.
